SOFTWARE LICENSING
Unlike ordinary software, DMS Point of Sale is not sold "in a box" together with the license. When installed, it momentarily gives you a free Trial Version that works without interruption for 15 days. Then, the software temporarily stops working if the License Key is not entered.
While using the Trial Version, you would be reminded to apply for the license each time you launch the software. Don't wait for the trial
period to expire before you get your license. Avoid the inconvenience of having to stop using the software for a while; get your License key
as soon as you can after installation.
Licensing Procedure
To obtain and activate your license, take the following steps:
1. If paying through a branch or outlet, let our personnel assist you.
If paying through the bank, proceed to step 3.
If paying via Smart Money or Globe GCASH, first notify us about your payment, then proceed to step 5.
If acquiring your license from authorized prepaid software license dealer, obtain your License Activation Code (LAC). Proceed to step 2.
2. Send thru SMS your License Activation Code (LAC) to this mobile number: +63 920 911 4200 (Smart)
If the LAC is valid, proceed to step 5. Otherwise, send another LAC.
3. Deposit your full payment for the license to:

If you obtained the copy of the software from a sales agent, let him assist you in depositing your payment.

5. Send via SMS your Installation Serial Number (ISN) to this mobile number:

Include the name and address of your organization (as entered or registered in the software), your landline phone number, and the name of the authorized representative.

6. Wait for the License Key that will be sent to you thru SMS while your payment is being verified.
7. Launch/start your DMS Point of Sale installation. Enter the License Key when prompted to do so. For more information, read ENTERING LICENSE KEY on pages E-5 to E-6 of the User Guide.
Important Notice
Transact with us directly or through our authorized dealers and agents. Always remember that only us could supply you the correct License Key that would activate your license.

Payment Schedule
As mentioned in our EULA, the software is not for sale. It is licensed to you on a per installation basis. So, your initial license only covers the original or first installation of the software on a single computer.
The license for each succeeding re-installation of the Software (which is necessary to restore your database management system in case the previous installation is destroyed) shall be granted only after paying a license renewal fee per re-installation in the amount equivalent to ten percent (10%) of the initial license fee.
Entering License Key
When your Trial Version of the software has already expired, the Expired Trial Version message appears on screen. Simply follow the instructions and enter the License Key and the License Number provided by us.
To enter your License Key when your Trial Version of the software has not yet expired, first launch Admin Menu by pressing F8 (Admin) on Main Screen, then press F6 (Software Issues) to launch Software Issues Menu. Select B (License) Key to open the licensing module. Follow the instructions, then enter the License Key and the License Number provided by us.
